Peter J. Caruso is member of the firm's Corporate department. Peter has extensive experience in all facets of the law, including family and business planning, real estate, asset protection, estate planning, as well as in newspaper, privacy, defamation, advertising, media and internet law, and copyright and publications law. He has represented clients including major daily and weekly publications throughout Massachusetts, publisher's associations, merchant associations, retail and development clients throughout the Merrimack Valley, insurance and advertising agencies, construction firms, title insurance companies as approved agent, and leading financial and banking institutions throughout New England.
Peter has argued cases before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Appeals Court, and U.S. Court of Appeals. As media counsel, he worked on several high-profile New England cases including the Willie Horton, Pam Smart, and Alan Eagleson cases.
Peter was the former managing partner of Caruso & Caruso, LLP, in Andover, Massachusetts, and has served clients throughout New England since 1975.
