Ray Bruttomesso is a member of our Intellectual Property Practice Group. He has over fifteen years of intellectual property experience, most recently in private practice handling patent and trademark prosecution, and providing litigation support.

He has worked as a patent attorney in the corporate environment, general practice firms, and intellectual property boutique firms. He has counseled corporations, institutions, and individuals and provided legal services on all intellectual property matters. Ray has drafted over one hundred patent applications; prepared patentability and freedom to operate opinions; and drafted license agreements. In addition, he has handled trademark and copyright matters and supported litigation on various intellectual property related matters.

Ray speaks on intellectual property issues to groups ranging from elementary school students to university classes and professional organizations.

He is an Engineering Duty Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and holds the rank of Commander. CDR Bruttomesso was mobilized in 2004 to U.S. Joint Forces Command in support of Operation Noble Eagle.

Ray works out of both our Manchester, New Hampshire and our Andover, Massachusetts offices.
