Manchester, NH - Devine Millimet announces that Angela B. Martin, Esq., a member of the firm's Corporate practice group, has been named a member of the Board of Directors of the Amoskeag Business Incubator.

Attorney Martin currently serves the ABI as a member of its Business Support Committee, counseling early-stage companies with respect to various legal issues. Her practice is focused primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. Angela advises closely held and family owned businesses across a variety of industries including financial, retail, high tech, manufacturing, and hospitality. A founding member of the firm's Small Business Team, she also works with business owners, counseling them on such topics as formation, governance, contract drafting and negotiation, debt and equity financing, succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions.

A 2006 graduate of Leadership Greater Manchester, Angela is an active community volunteer. She was the American Heart Association's 2010 Heart Ball Chairperson and a former member of the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester. She is a frequent lecturer, presenting seminars to business groups on legal issues and has published several articles on legal and business topics.

The Amoskeag Business Incubator was started in 1997 as a joint venture between Southern New Hampshire University and the City of Manchester, New Hampshire. The Incubator provides a supportive entrepreneurial environment that stimulates the growth of businesses to ensure economic vitality and encourage job creation. The Incubator provides affordable office space and technical assistance to early-stage companies.
