Each attorney in the Group has practiced extensively before the New Hampshire Department of Labor, the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Some members of the Group have also practiced extensively in the workers’ compensation field in Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont. Members regularly serve as faculty members and seminar moderators for any number of privately sponsored seminars. They regularly work with, and in front of, the New Hampshire Legislature, as it relates to proposed workers’ compensation legislation. Attorneys at Devine Millimet have authored the New Hampshire Workers’ Compensation Treatise. The Group works closely with the Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Group at the Firm as there is frequently overlap between the workers’ compensation issues and employment law issues including applicability of the Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.

For up-to-date information and developments that affect the workplace, Devine Millimet publishes the Litigation Review, as well as the Employment Law Newsletter, which both summarize recent Supreme Court decisions, statutory and regulatory changes, and other developments of interest to the insurance industry.
